Just let the entire BuckFeta experiment submerge beneath the waves of alt-right internet auto-asphyxiation. We mourn what might have been, and hope still for a future where incels can learn to meet women, where programmers can actually get living wage jobs, and where it is OK to be white, because that is the way it has always been, you firkening racist asshole.
aristarchus is dying. Khallow wanted him to flame out, but that is not the way it is going down. He has overstepped, become shrill, annoying, and the alt-right has taken advantage of that, by making it rain before Trump's most recent rally. Nothing angrier than a wet Trump supporter but a wet hen, and they have comparable intelligence.
STEM is a SCAM, a Socially Corrupt Attempt to Manipulate. We need people here who understand how tech is used, paraded before Vulture capitalists, and works against humanity. We need to take a stand on political matters, a technically informed stance, lest we be Damored by ignorant techies.
And, finally, this journal entry makes no sense. I could regale you with the saga of hundred more rejected submissions, unfair and unjust down-modding, and erroneous accusations of sock-puppetry, but I will not. Perhaps you should look for what Friedrich Nietzsche called "the philosophers of the Future", the ones who will come, not with a hammer or a gallon of gasoline, but with a tuning fork, to test the idols of the present, and to see which ring hollow. I guess I should have clarified. I 100% understand that their persecution complex comes from a reaction to their perceived persecution even though the persecution is not real.
I understand how the political correctness movement has gone overboard. I understand that some poor sensitive white people are getting a tiny taste of discrimination and losing their minds over it. I understand that Fox News and other insane propaganda outlets feed misinformation, fear, anger and hatred to these poor people.
However, it is all so irrational that the statement "not sure I'll ever understand where their persecution complex comes from" becomes true. I can forgive some hapless teens who are simply too young to know better, but adults? The very same people who rally around "personal responsibility" and "meritocracy!"?? Understanding gone.
Maybe try balancing your anger about "flyover country" with the fact that those areas are bastions of racism and bigotry wrapped around religious zealotry.

How does one's Title IX rights to an equal access to education, for example, being repeatedly violated not constitute real persecution?
Of course, those things are caused by right-wing pseudo-feminists (holding an entire gender accountable for the actions of a few is not feminism) in various college administrations. They're doing the exact same thing as our NPC "fren" but irl, creating illegal policies so that they can claim, "Don't like it? Blame feminism! lolololol *trollface*" The persecution and hostile environments are real, but their victims have been lied to about who is responsible.
There is that and of course none of that would be possible without the tacit approval of the men in those administrations and certainly not without behind-the-scenes encouragement I'm sure from the local financial elites (whose class interest it is to create division in the working class).

What i was wanting to do before I left on my month long workcation was to grab all Aristarchus subs throughout the week and on every Saturday or Sunday post a omnibus "This Week in Aristarchus" journal. It would seem to me that the best way to show editor bias, if editor bias exists, would be by using ones journal to show all the activity that they have deemed not worth posting to the main page. Why is Aristarchus hiding the sum of Aristarchus submissions? The weekly omnibus would show what all Aristarchus feels is important for all of us to know, and also show what all the editors think is not important for us to know.
My personal take is that Aristarchus seems more interested in being rejected so they can cry bias and abuse than being interested in people seeing what articles they want posted.

There have been some submissions by Aristarchus that I would have been interested in discussing, but the summary Aristarchus put together was such a shit-show that it was probably impossible to have an interesting discussion exist in its wake.
