Can Congress defund them for it? If they can, but they haven't, it can only mean they truly are complicit. Which nobody should doubt anyway.

But I also understand the fear of discovery. It would reveal that Sr. Presidente isn't doing anything out of the ordinary. And none of this is going to affect the vote anyway. The Party will still get its 95% no matter what.

And Poor old Joe. He has to spend the rest of his campaign denying that he *fucks pigs* (a "Fear and Loathing" thing). Damn near feel sorry for the SOB.

It weirds me out to the point of numbness. The last few years have been like one of those nightmares where you can *see* the monster coming for you but your feet won't move.

You'll be in a nightmare, weirded out to the point of numbness, if you keep opposing America and it's people and culture. That's what losing feels like.

Join the American team. Go to a Trump rally. Fly the US flag outside your home. Call ICE whenever you are suspicious. Donate to We Build The Wall. Buy everything 100% American to support your fellow citizens. Ditch the leftist self-loathing and needless guilt; these cause mental problems.

If nothing else, it'll cheer you up.

Fool. This country was built on, of, and by immigrants. Twice, at least. Or do you claim to be a pureblood descendant of one of the original Clovis people?

Understand something: I do not hate myself. I don't hate the good things this country *purportedly* stands for, though it's done a piss-poor job at most of them for most of its history. What I hate is ignorance, especially willful ignorance, *especially* willful ignorance masquerading as civic virtue. You, of course, are utterly incapable of knowing the difference. Keep pissing yourself in your little bunker pretending to be tough and patriotic.

Hahah, I remember that part. To those not in the know, it's from "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72," not "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."

The gist was that if you call somebody a "pig fucker," the publicity of them denying it is bad no matter how nonsensical the accusation is. The actual quote is as follows:

…(I)n both the Ohio and Nebraska primaries, back to back, McGovern was confronted for the first time with the politics of the rabbit-punch and the groin shot, and in both states he found himself dangerously vulnerable to this kind of thing. Dirty politics confused him. He was not ready for it….

This is one of the oldest and most effective tricks in politics. Every hack in the business has used it in times of trouble, and it has even been elevated to the level of political mythology in a story about one of Lyndon Johnson’s early campaigns in Texas. The race was close and Johnson was getting worried. Finally he told his campaign manager to start a massive rumor campaign about his opponent’s life-long habit of enjoying carnal knowledge of his own barnyard sows.

“Christ, we can’t get away calling him a pig-fucker,” the campaign manager protested. “Nobody’s going to believe a thing like that.”

“I know,” Johnson replied. “But let’s make the sonofabitch deny it.”

I bet the real reason why Biden et al. are shitting their pants is because they're going to be linked to the airliner that was shot down over Ukraine. Screencap this post.
