So awful what happened in Cleveland. 2016 Republican National Convention, remember that one? As you know, RNC "delegates" chose me -- very proudly -- as OFFICIAL Nominee for President. Great moment in the history of our Country, right? But outside, a horrible person with absolutely NO RESPECT was doing one of the worst things anyone can do. Burning the Flag of our beloved Country -- U.S. A. The same one that so many men, and a few women died for. Or, not the same but the latest version of it. And the Cleveland Police did their jobs brilliantly, they arrested him very quickly for that one. But now, all charges dropped. And Cleveland( City) is paying the Perpetraitor $225,000. And by the way, it's also the Birthday of your favorite President. I've been getting so many wonderful phone calls about that one. And so many beautiful gifts. I get calls and gifts all the time. Some from foreign governments. Should I immediately call the FBI about these calls and gifts? How ridiculous! And by the way, I didn't get a call from Ayatolla Homenni. Or a gift -- nor a gift. No gift from Iran yet. But the day isn't over, they still have time. To give a beautiful Birthday present to me -- or to my great, and very brave soldiers. But of course I would give it to the FBI or report it to the attorney-general. Of course you would do that.

Iran is a nation of terror and they've changed a lot since I've been President, I can tell you. They were unstoppable and now they are in deep, deep trouble. They were screaming "oh, death to America." They haven't been screaming "death to America" lately, did you notice? That's because of me. If the Ayatolla calls and says "oh, we don't like your opponent, death to 1% Joe" am I supposed to report him to the FBI?

And very very little Obstruction. Almost no Obstruction. Thank you America!!!

I am a Master Builder. And when I build, I never ever forget the paint. That's so important. Great paint makes a structure look truly fabulous. The same way a Supermodel -- like Melanie -- makes a dress look truly fabulous. So important. And paint can do much more. It does many things.

That's why I've directed my military to paint our Border Wall. Starting in beautiful Calexico, California. Which I visited in April with Kirstjen -- we miss Kirstjen, don't we? And which I'll be visiting many times. Many times. We tore down the old Clinton Border Fence in Calexico. And put up a brand new See Through Barrier. Very see-through, so you're able to see the other side, which is a very important element. And very, very hard to climb. That's something my Border Patrol appreciates a lot. They gave me a trophy for that one, if you can believe it.

And mark my words, they'll be giving me another trophy when we're done with the painting there. Because we're doing a very special color. Known as Flat Black. Looks incredible on a Supermodel. And believe me, it's going to look incredible on our tall Wall Slats, which are 30 feet tall in some places. One of the tallest Walls in the entire world. And the Flat Black is going to do a lot to stop the invasion of our Country by Human Traffickers, Drug Dealers, Cartels, Coyotes and Caravans of Illegal Immigrants. Something that, frankly, Mexico hasn't been doing much about. But the very special paint, the Flat Black, when it's in the sun there in Mexico -- Mexico adjacent USA and they get an incredible amount of sun in that part of our Country, it's a sun day almost every day. Almost every day and that Flat Black is going to get very very hot. Not the sexy hot, the gotta grab it hot. The other hot, the one that's very painful when we touch it. And nobody's going to want to climb up there because of that horrible heat. That's right, we're doing the Anti Climb paint. There are now 77 major or significant Walls built around the world, with 45 countries planning or building Walls. But U.S.A is the first with the Anti Climb paint.

And there's more. If you've seen the Clinton Border Fence -- so ugly. Because it rusted. And it was actually camouflaging the individuals crossing (illegally) our Border. One of their favorite tactics. My Border Patrol folks told me it was very hard for them to see those people. Because it was brown against brown. No more, we're doing the black. And that's costing $150,000. Sounds like a lot of money. It is a lot of money. And Crybaby Dems like Dick Dustbin are saying, "oh, it's too much money." They're very short sighted. And possibly something else is short too, I don't know. Trust me, we're going to make it up on the back end. Mexico is going to be paying for that one. Because of me there is now going to be great cooperation between Mexico & the USA, something that didn’t exist for decades. Mexico was not being cooperative on the Border in things we had, or didn’t have. But now we're making a New Deal with Mexico, much better than NAFTA. Much better and Mexico is going to work a lot harder on stopping the invasion. And the beautiful Flat Black paint will also stop it. NO MORE INVASION! And that means we'll be spending less money on the Enforcement, on the Boarder Patrol.

And I want spikes on top. Very sharp so if someone makes it up there -- again, we have 30 foot tall Slats in some places and that's something we're going to see more and more -- they're going to be sorry they did. Because there Hands are going to get cut very badly. And I think they know that. I think they know. And they're VERY INTIMIDATED by it.

So happy the Collusion Dillusion is over. And I had a great phone call, great talk with Vladimir/Russia. Good conversation about many different things. Including -- very, very briefly -- the horrible Russia Hoax. He actually sort of smiled when he said something to the effect that it started off as a mountain and ended up as a mouse. But he knew that. He knew. Because he knew there was NO COLLUSION WHATSOEVER.

We discussed Trade, Venezuela, Ukraine, North Korea, Nuclear Arms Control and even the thoroughly discredited Russian Hoax. Very long and productive talk.

He’s not looking at all to get involved with Venezuela other than he’d like to see something positive for Venezuela. I feel the same way. Their people are starving, thirsty & no medicine. They have no money -- economy CRASHING & BURNING. They put in Socialism. And now nobody will buy their oil. Terrible situation, which we continue to monitor very closely. Very closely. And we're working very hard on that one. No more Witch Hunt(NO COLLUSION), so we have time for these things. The people & Constitution of Venezuela were forgotten. They're forgotten no more.

Getting along with Russia and China, getting along with all of them is a very good thing. Not a bad thing. We want to have good relationships with every country. The nuclear and the not nuclear. So happy I canceled the horrible, very one-sided Russian Nuclear Deal. And, that the Witch Hunt is over. So now we can make a new, much better deal with them. And hopefully with China and North Korea. So we can get rid of some of the tremendous firepower that we have right now. And put that nuclear into our Energy Grid to make our Economy roar even harder!!!!

I'm a builder. And, I'm a New Yorker. Often said, the greatest builder in New York. They call it New York, frankly it's not so new. When we build something there, something else has to come down. Otherwise known as demolition. So important, and it can be a lot of fun too. 1966, my father held a tremendous Demolition Party at Steeplechase Park. On Coney Island. He had it catered with a very classy spread, Champagne (I didn't drink!) and tons of sexy models wearing only Bikinis. We all got to throw bricks through the windows. And smash the horrible Funny Face. Magnificent time for a 19 year old guy.

1980, another tremendous Demolition. That time, by me. Bonwit Teller, dowdy old department store that was very detrimental to property values on 5th. Avenue. It dropped very quickly, such a pretty picture. And the whole city celebrated that one.

But, look what they did in Massachusetts. They had one Coal Power Plant. Known as Brayton Point. So beautiful -- but it had a lot going for it besides looks. It was their insurance policy. When the hurricanes came through -- and in Massachusetts they get a lot of them -- they had electric. Because Coal never stops, it keeps going and going. Unlike Wind. A hurricane comes through, the Wind Power totally stops. You think, "oh, hurricane is so much wind." But, it's too much so they have to do a total and complete shutdown. You wanted to watch TV. Sorry darling, the wind is blowing too hard.

And, so sad. They demolished the Cooling Towers of Brayton Point. Something that was only built in 2009. They built it just when Cheatin' Obama began his horrible, and costly War on Coal. The timing was not great. And in fact it was the absolute worst time to build that one. They thought it would last forever, it only lasted 10 years. Could have lasted much longer, the owners didn't want it too. Because they're putting in Wind. They call it Off Shore Wind Farm. People don't know this, these so-called Off Shore Wind Farms don't just destroy the Off Shore -- and the property values of our Coastal properties. They don't just kill all your beautiful birds and spread horrible Cancer everywhere. They come on shore too. With so much wires, so much Digital & Machinery. Takes up a lot of space and they haven't worked out, how can they put all that out in the ocean. Because turning Wind into something that can go out over our Energy Grid is not easy. Many big machines & Digital. So ugly, so dangerous and that's what they want to put in.

And some very foolish people held a Demolition Party. They're laughing, they're getting drunk. Possibly they have models in Bikinis, I don't know. I know I'm very sad about it. My wife Melanie is very sad about it. And hopefully my son, who is 13, doesn't hear about this one. Because it's going to be a hard one to explain. And, I'm having trouble understanding it myself. Where was Governor Baker when they shut down the biggest, and ABSOLUTE CLEANEST Coal Plant in New England? They destroyed the biggest engine for their Economy, for Jobs and everything else.
