Hold the news reader's nose squarely, waiter, or friendly milk will countermand my trousers. _____________________________ wickr: infinitemnkythy

Pipedot is still going and, if you've not been recently, the dev has made and continues to make progress with the site. While Pipedot and Soylent cover a lot of the same territory, I think there is room for both, as sometimes there are conversations happening on one site that are not (or not yet) happening on the other. For example, there's a potentially interesting discussion opportunity currently available on Pipedot concerning Asimov and his literary visions of the future that I would enjoy seeing take off, as I'd really like to find out what the rest of you like to read and what authors and works you've found important or meaningful wrt scifi and its capability (or lack thereof) to predict or anticipate future technological and social/political developments.
