Apple (Australia) Says 'No Evidence' of Photo Theft From Apple Store Customer Phones
Apple has investigated the alleged theft of photos from female customers' phones at an Australian Apple Store and stated it found no evidence data was transferred inappropriately.
It was reported by the Courier Mail that employees at an Apple Store in Queensland, Australia had been fired after it was discovered they were sharing photos of female customers and employees.
Staff at the store, located in Brisbane's Carindale Westfield shopping centre, were reportedly taking photos of female customers and employees, as well as raiding them from phones customers had left there for repairs.
A worker at the store flagged the issue after discovering one of the perpetrators scrolling through a customer's phone, according to the publication. The original report suggested photos were allegedly part of a sharing ring, with the subject of each shared photo being rated out of 10.
"We are investigating a violation of Apple's business conduct policy at our store in Carindale, where several employees have already been terminated as a result of our findings," Apple said in a statement.
Despite workers being fired, the company added that, based on its investigation, "we have seen no evidence that customer data or photos were inappropriately transferred or that anyone was photographed by these former employees."

The "no evidence" thing sounds like spin.
Why were the employees fired if there was no evidence of them doing anything wrong?
Maybe the precise wording is important. Maybe they got fired for rating, but not transferring photos on customer phones.

That was my first reaction too. If they were fired but the employer also claims no evidence of wrongdoing, which led to their termination, they just opened themselves up for a lawsuit.

They will be fired if a woman complains someone took a photo of her. This is real world, reputation of store is more costly than skill of a low-level employee.

Roseanne Barr: I Was the First Person to Tell Trump to Run for President
"When Roseanne ended its celebrated run, Barr got her own syndicated television talk show, The Roseanne Show. Recently, she realized she'd had two very special guests come through her studio-and told one of them he should consider a presidential run.
"I interviewed both Trump and Michael Moore together," said Barr, who says she "sort of" knows the GOP frontrunner and likes him "as a human being." "I was watching it and I tell Trump, 'You should run for president,'" she grinned.
Why did Trump seem so presidential back then? "Because of all of his views," Barr said. "He was extremely progressive. He was saying we should invest more in education, and we need health care. He said all the things that Hillary's saying. That's why I know that it's just a con. The whole fucking thing. It's a scam, a con, and it's rigged.""
