    Why is it so undesirable to live near a border with Klingons or Romulans? How is it more dangerous than living near sand niggers? The Romulans killed thousands of people in the Tomed Incident, though beta canon indicates that it was a false flag operation by the Federation to create an excuse to limit the ability of Romulans to arm themselves for war. Therefore, it's not altogether clear that Romulan attacks have actually ever resulted in loss of life on that scale. However, sand niggers killed thousands of people on 9/11. Ongoing conflicts between different groups of sand niggers and ragheads have killed tens of thousands in the Middle East. Yet people still seem willing to live near dune coons. How exactly is it more dangerous to live near Klingons and Romulans than it is to live near sand niggers?
