The journal entry is by Woodherd 4, and you mention numbers to 10, and then 12. What happened to the Spinal Tap Woodherd? Why are you banning new soylentils before they are even hatched, janrinok? Maybe your being locked out is a case of karma?

So you have just told me that it was also a sock-puppet. That is why those accounts are being blocked - but they are not banned. I am waiting for the response to the emails that they will have each received.

My god, you are an idiot, janrinok! Do all cultural references escape you so easily? Even the British ones? Of course there is no "Spinal Tap Woodherd", because it is a reference to the Mockumentary, This is Spinal Tap [imdb.com], featuring the exploding drummer, and amps that went all the way up to eleven! And if, perchance, there is now a SpinalTapWoodherd, or a Woodherd11, consider that you might, by the bowels of Christ, be mistaken, because you have gotten the post hoc, ergo hoc fallacy backwards, which begs the question.

That's not a common reference here in SN, linking an account name to Spinal Tap's amps. But I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. Where was it?

The original post in this thread is signed by aristarchus and talks about Woodherd 4's account being closed. Woodherd 4's journal contains the text "8D8298/49792" as a reference number to a second account being closed. If we flip that last number around, we get the user ID of the account that was closed, which was 29794. Woodherd 4 says the second closed account that he tried to create and received the email for was "Anti-Racist Soylentil." Let's see what account 29794 was, shall we?

You might say that the original post being signed by aristarchus doesn't mean it was posted by aristarchus. I'll also point out that https://soylentnews.org/comments.pl?cid=149437&sid=6262 shows that the aristarchus account made a very similar Spinal Tap reference to Mockingbird's comment and your comment.
Now, we have multiple connections between you, the aristarchus account, the Mockingbird account, the Woodherd accounts, and the FYN accounts.

For someone who is very concerned about his own privacy, you had zero qualms about violating Runaway's privacy by doxxing him. You don't get to pick and choose who is entitled to privacy. Privacy is for everyone, whether you agree or disagree with them.

Runaway1956 was sloppy regarding privacy. He regularly posted details about his domicile, his work (less now, that he is retired?), and other personal details. aristarchus did not so much dox him, as just collate all the details Runaway had posted already. You might say that privacy is not exposing information someone did not want to be disclosed, but with Runaway1956, he already disclosed most of that. Now, give me a privacy polity that will protect against ignorant morons posting their own personal details on this site? Give me FatPhil, if you will.

Interesting. Khallow has been roundly told off for their insurrection denials by everyone and now they are going with lersonal insults. Similar to janrinok's complaints about NCommander. Seems the chickens are coming home to roost and no one much wants to play with the selfish libertarian jerks. With the obvious meddling of apk spamming as aristarchus that also feels like a group smear campaign. Janrinok's talk of community is hilarious when the community has been the most effective scape goat for lack of management. The implosion was predicted, now can staff salvage the remnants? Good luck, I mean that 87.9% sincerely.

Where's your evidence of this. You say it's obvious, but it's not. APK had a distinctive posting style, which is nothing like aristarchus'. APK would sometimes pretend to be someone else in his AC comments and refer to himself in the third person, but the style was incredibly similar to the posts signed as APK. Again, none of this matches the style of aristarchus' comments. Absent any evidence, this looks like an excuse to deflect blame away from aristarchus at any cost.
You happily criticize khallow for downplaying January 6. You're doing exactly the same thing when you downplay aristarchus' rotten behavior [soylentnews.org] and make excuses like saying he was only posting "mean words and light doxxing." You're doing exactly what you accuse khallow of doing. Yeah, I'm calling you out for your hypocrisy.
Janrinok didn't disappear for 2+ years while having the title of CEO of the PBC. He's been working hard every day to keep the site running. When you contact the admin email, the person who answers is janrinok. Whether you agree or disagree with his decisions, he's the one person who's actually been providing some management. You don't like janrinok. That is obvious. But your criticism really misses the mark here.

I am the AC more concerned with privacy, and it is more ideological concern. Apk is the asshole spamming the nastiest content free stuff, at least that is my guess. They seem to enjoy pretending to be aristarchus, which makes sense from a rightwing troll like apk. Just my opinion, I am not staff so I don't get the fun job of correlating IP hashes and whatever other data the site gets from browsers.
