They run Indian cyber, they got an Indian to make the cyber for the Site. I love India, it's a great country. I have so many tremendous buildings going up there. But when India sends its cyber, they're not sending their best. They're sending cyber that has lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to our Sites. They’re bringing bugs. They're bringing crime. They're hacking. And they're killing us economically. Romania, Russia, Ukraine -- those are great Countries for cyber. Not India.
The SoylentNews cyber has something called Moderation. It's not moderation, it's censorship. It's a very strong move against the Posters. It keeps people from tweeting. Or makes their tweets hard to see. And it hides their journals. And it's VERY BUGGY. So you got censored. You paid, you still got censored. And maybe, probably, you're not censored any more. Because the Administrators said, "oh, let's stop censoring him for now." They decided that. They saw so many people complaining that you were censored, they looked at your IP Karma, they erased it so you could tweet again. So many times, they decide who can tweet and who can't. The Administrators and the Moderators. And maybe, probably, some people are both. Right? A pretty sad situation. Go SoylentNews!
You have subscriber status right now because I credited you a month for getting bit by a bug that I personally put in the code base that failed to properly undo the effects of a Spam moderation on ip addresses. The bug fix isn't live yet but I manually took care of the problem, so you can post while logged in now (you need like six more points of karma to post AC).
As for your paid sub, I just checked our Stripe dashboard, there's no charge there under your registered email address. Which jives with the admin Subs page on SN and the subs logs in the db. You certain the charge went through? Not having all of Stripe's js allowed is an easy way to keep a sub payment from going through.

Hmm. Handy thing to know, that. I've been trying to decide if I care enough to try to figure out whether I bought two subscriptions for this year or just one. Seems there's a few rough-spots around the edge-cases there.
Two. Buying another extends an existing one by however many days you chose, so you're good for a while unless you just feel like paying a bigger chunk of the bills.
I may have used a dummy email address like ab512@mvhrt.com of the format you'd find on 10 minute mail. If you have anything like that unclaimed you may want to credit it to me.
Two questions: 1) Was your "Arabic-sounding" name "Al-Kahal" by any chance? Because that would be both lulzy and surprisingly historically-accurate. And 2) are you the creep who keeps posting all those "sound of silence" stories about rape, murder, and child abuse? Because if so, cut that shit out; it's not even a troll, it's a waste of electrons.
-- I am "that girl" your mother warned you about...
No I did not post that. That kind of trolling is intellectually lazy. The thought had occurred to me that my friend who lives at an ip I had previously posted from had been trolling ac and sunk me but I doubt even he would post that crap.
You're like that broad who wants to be pregnant so badly she convinces herself that she's having morning sickness. But, now, you've finally figured out that your not pregnant after all, and you're heartbroken. And, the guy who was banging you has cut out for Calgary, or Timbuktu, or maybe even Gay Bay.
No, Eth, you can't get banned from Soylent, no matter how hard you try. So, stop trying.
