Is SoylentNews IRC server dead? [It's not!]

Anyone had luck connecting to the IRC server? Seems to be dead for me. Btw anyone has idea if the favicon can be used for a soylentnews reader app or is copyrighted?

EDIT: hmm, I guess the IRC page from FAQ has old links, the link on the left (https://chat.soylentnews.org/) works fine, weird
EDIT2: no idea what was going on, but all links from about/faq page seem to point to the same chat.soylent.org link so must've been some weirdness on my end

    My client appears to be connected, nothing I type shows up in the window. Opened a new window and connected, again . . . rupertpupnick answered me this time, so I guess I'm connected. Will you try joining again?

      Thanks, yeah it seems to be working, not sure why but didn't manage to get connected the few times I tried yesterday and like an hour before I thought about posting in journal, then it just worked for some reason (using the link on the left so thought maybe links in the pages I tried before were outdated, but they all seem to point to chat.soylent... so no idea, really weird)
