Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Maybe I am paranoid but I actually see a personality analysis on the poll.
Throwing a pie in this context is to put a joke on somebody. You put the joke on the subject which you most trust or love. It is similar to when people insult their closest friend/peer, when he/she would never do it to a stranger, or to an acquaintance.
NCommander: Leader worshipper, grouppy. Is a good follower and loves the leader. By the number of votes it seems the community is not much into it. The community may recognize the work but does not feel close enough to actually put a joke on on a single person. In my opinion this is reasonable, he is not really a friend of mine. Not even an acquaintance so why would I find a joke on him I do not know.
My least favourite Soylent: This option tries to take away the joke mood and put the poll on a kind of revengeful mood. The person who votes this actually recalled the experience with the soylento. This site revolves about opinion sharing and confrontation in an argumentative environment. Obviously confrontation with others is acceptable and does not carry an important reaction in most soylentos. Low vote count shows again. I never understood the Foe thing of the profile.
My boss: A bit like the least favourite vote. The mindset persists just the object is unrelated to Soylent. It may put a bit of a joke on the boss, but that seems a related to a love/hate relationship, which may be a bit dysfunctional.
Dice executives (43): Oh, here comes my less substantiated thesis. People who voted this are stubborn people that cannot let some subjects go, even when the site on which they are voting is a valid solution to their problems with slashdot. I also sense a bit of group think because it seems to be cool to bash the layout of another site. I do recognize it was the reason for founding this site, but I am certainly here for other reasons, one of them bigger SNR than slashdot. (Ouch Ouch I said slashdot!)
The one who makes these Thursday polls (33): People who are annoyed at the vagueness of this poll like the parent of this thread. A legitimate position and one I argue against. Soylentos who vote this way are highly sensitive to the discussion potential, which is understandable given the site's target.
Everyone, even retroactively (35): As the poll implies a joke, the all or northing, degenerates to an all-in. Some Soylentos like to share good things, and they believe a joke is a good thing universally. They also want to share subject on both sides, the laugher and the laughed. Some could also see this option as "socialistish" and that may be a good point. I voted this option and I do not consider myself socialist even though it got me thinking about my intentions...
(s/a pie/bacon/) Myself (29): Soylentos that get the joke but do not think everybody would like the joke on their selves(The English language is poor). As such they gladly sacrifice for the enjoyment of others they like. The reference to a sed may also add another level of humour which is only be understood by some. Soylentos are typically technical people and a joke on this level is possibly pleasant.
I refuse to put "Other - Specify" on another poll (18): I have not found a reason to vote on this option besides, "Just because". As this is not a serious poll the option is another joke, on the sensless humor kind. Soylentos who voted this probably like Monty Python.
Dice, as bad as they are, are only the next in a line of Slashdot owners that put the site into a downward spiral. Geeknet/Sourceforge/Whatever decided to to aggressively monetize Slashdot. Dice only turned up the "suck" knob to 11.
