It wouldn't be too hard for someone to listen to the US version while reading the transcript and mark the missing parts. Am I motivated enough before coffee? Yes. Check back in an hour.

The video on Dateline is taken down, but a transcript is up. I did a quick comparison between the Dateline and Liveleak version and posted it here:

On further reflection, maybe the video isn't taken down -- I'm in the US and this an Australian site and maybe they just won't let me watch.

The most damning bits in my opinion are the extent of German security services' involvement with the Five Eyes' spying programs, the extent and duration of spying on chancellors and other world leaders, and industrial espionage. Interesting, but not new if you've been keeping up with the leaks. Firms like Booz Allen Hamilton are for-profit companies directly benefiting from the security state, and that they take our tax dollars and throw them right back at congress to get even more of what they want is a disturbing cycle which must be broken.
I'm wringing my grubby hands in anticipation of more document leaks about industrial espionage, and who exactly benefits from it. Also, good job on the site. I'm happy to be here.

Here is a side-by-side version of the same comparison document -- may be easier to see the differences. Of particular not, Dateline changed Snowden's words.
Q: So it was a short adventure.
A (German): It's a short adventure.
A (Australian): Yes.
It has the same meaning, but, it is also plainly manipulated, and one wonders if the answers in the AU version that don't appear in the German version are also manipulated, perhaps more deceptively.

I've now listened to the video embedded in the NDR page linked from the summary (it says "Germany only" beyond the video, so you probably cannot get it) and at the same time reading the comparison PDF. The German version is very close to the transcript (I think it's close enough that the few small deviations are genuine mistakes — in no case I did recognize a changed meaning). Where the Australian version differs from the German one in the formulation, the German transcript formulation always is the one appearing in the video.
Also note that the larger "added" text passages in the Australian version indeed all appear in the neighbouring yellow blocks, so they are not really additions.

One of the most interesting points Snowden brought out in the interview was in response to the suggestion (given by MANY high profile politicians) that he should come back to the U.S and face a Fair trial.
Snowden indicated it would not be an open and fair trial as the the crimes of which he is accused, force the trial to be behind closed doors and he is unlikely to ever see a jury of his peers.
