"Edward Snowden was interviewed for German television in late January. The interview took place in Russia, and while most western media outlets seem to be showing a 15-minute version, full 30-minute versions are available from LiveLeak and the Internet Archive.

The transcript is available from the broadcaster (NDR)."

    If you or I were caught breaking federal laws the outcome would include fines and, most likely, handcuffs and prison time. None of this "we didn't really spy on citizens because we didn't mean to, so everything is OK, and we'll try not to get caught doing it again."
