  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

That comment was posted by an AC. You are an AC. The comment was flagged because of its content. Only you know if you posted it or not.

I was concerned you were making a false identification and censoring someone else because I would bot shut up about your hypocritical rules enforcement. All you had to say was why your flagging was justified. Providing IDs for falsely flagged comments is literally impossible for me since they are flagged and I cannot judge their content.

So many logical errors around here. I've joked about this site being a testing ground for chatbots, and you really make me wonder if it might actually be likely! More likely you are overly paranoid that a banned user is playing games. Can't help you there, I just stick to the bits I know are truth, otherwise I use speculative language mostly. Not perfect am I.

Is it better that you are a fool believing lying admins? Or better that your pride keeps you from admitting to tiny vanity based abuses like removing a slightly embarassing accusation?

Someone else was flagged and complained about bias. Since that comment was left visible I decided to try and find out if you janrinok were confusing them with being me, and censoring them as part of a shadow ban on me. I asked you who you thought the flagged commenter was, you played games and demanded I provide you with flagged comment IDs which I did not have. He refuses to simply state who is being flagged

Lets start with an easy one: Anonymous Coward is being flagged. I suspect you are being a bit silly with this claim. If we knew who they were, they wouldn't be anonymous, would they? But can we sometimes link AC comments together based on their comments' content and other information which they give to us freely.

                and why

Only slightly more difficult: Either he is permanently banned from the site, or he is using other people's journals for repetitive complaining. Both are valid reasons for flagging.

                AC claims political bias

I cannot understand this one. Neither being permanently banned or repetitive complaining have any political bias associated with them. I suspect that the Anonymous Coward objecting in the parent comment to which I am responding to does have a political bias.

A little while ago some admin made a silly comment then deleted the thread entirely which is claimed to be impossible

No admin did such a thing, nor can anyone find any evidence to support this claim. Neither was an 'entire thread' deleted. That simply cannot be done.

Then you are being played for a fool. Two comments, up for at least a day, gone.

Doubt you'll read all this, hope it doesn't need to be re-stated.

It would explain so much if the admins are the ones playing silly games invisible to a trusting editor. What galls me is how mundane the redaction waz, for a minor misstep where an admin assumed who and why about a comment then deleted their minor embarassment. Probably should not be surprising, power corrupts and what was once taboo becomes common place because almost no one believes such things would be done. The while thing is sad and I wish it was possible to magically know the real intentions of people

My favorite is how "comments are assessed based in content" while you claim that identity, being a banned user or repeat complainer, is basis for flagging. I tried to see if you were flagging someone because you thought they were a banned user, or that they were a serial complainer, and you refused to admit which criteria informed your censorship. You put the onus on me while making veiled accusations, then triumphantly exclaim you knew it was me. Still not sure if you confused the OP with myself, but that seems to be the case. In which case you are an abusive moderator harming someone that was not the serial complainer or banned user.

Which is why you play these games You made many mistakes the last few years and your pride or anger at TeH BaNneD OnE keeps you from admitting such. I imagine good intentions, even though you have now transferred your anger to me for the crime of calling out your mistaken identity abuse, then repeating complaints because you would censor and continue abuse.

Are you still playing games? Think I am the banned one but you cannot unequivocally prove it? Or am I just the next windmill?

All of this because I tried to find out if another AC was being punished because you thought they were me. Instead of a simple maybe professional interaction I was treated to more abuse and leading accusatory questions. You know, the type if complaining and questioning assumptions you take SUCH UMBRAGE with, even though you refuse to answer.

Now an admin is able to purge comments without a trace and you hope the community is fine with zero accountability. Of course editing a database is possible, it is just a pain to get right. Once figured out though easy enough to script a tool to adjust related values. Whatever, I keep trying to help you with info and you keep being a blockhead. Harder and harder to see it as innocent.

Another one is "real bbq sauce" is supposed to be put on "real bbq meat" prepared in a "real bbq manner" slow smoked for hours, but really any savory/non-sweetened BBQ on grilled meat is pretty good. The smokey vinegar mustard based bbq sauces are real good.

Chose the 'catsup' option, because it reminded me of Corner Gas, where Lacy thinks Oscar can't read because he's sounding out 'Cat-sup' (because he thinks 'Catsup' is just wrong wrong wrong).

    When i was a kid, yeah...ketchup.
Now i prefer stuff like dijon or hot mustard, Sriracha, horseradish, sauerkraut...

If the meat-stick is at grilled bratwurst levels, then sure, a nice coarse grind brown mustard is definitely the condiment of choice.

However, if we're talking about some steamed or microwaved, artificially cased, generic hotdog in a limp white bun... that's ketchup country for me.

    1) Ketchup doesn't taste good anymore. As a kid, it used to taste tomato like a super incredible mild salsa like a sweet and sour coleslaw but with tomatos and without cabbage, kinda. Kind of a pasta sauce with less oregano and garlic LOL. Now you cannot buy hyperprocessed ketchup below 25% sugar and its overwhelming, smack you in the mouth, sweet overwhelming any other flavor. I would not put maple syrup on a hot dog either. Now that I think about it, the sugar content of fake maple syrup aka "pancake syrup" might be lower than ketchup, and pork breakfast sausage with a little syrup on it is tasty although I usually don't eat that. Regardless, the sugar content is too high for my diet and after a couple weeks your taste buds re-regulate and it becomes way too sugary to eat. "Back when I was a kid" and ketchup was only like 10% sugar it was both tasty and edible, not so anymore. Ketchup is now a red food dye ice cream syrup topping, its pretty gross. Its like the "strawberry" (with no fruit included) ice cream topping but less floral perfume smell.

    2) The local "fancy hot dog stand" which claims genealogical connection, vaguely, to Chicago (I have doubts as to its parentage), serves its dogs and hot sausages with slices of tomato and hot peppers. Apparently ketchup is a shit hyper processed substitute for a tomato slice and mustard is a shit hyperprocessed substitute for an italian hot pepper. The real food is delicious. So at home I eat brats and hot dogs with slices of tomato and hot peppers just like the fancy hot dog stand. Its pretty tasty if you've never tried it, go ahead, its really good! Or instead of trash hyperprocessed ground up hot dog relish with an ingredient list longer than a tax return, try a slice of pickle with a grilled dog or sausage, thats pretty good also.

If I'm going to eat something unhealthy like a high carb bread based sandwich, I'm going to "treat myself" to delicious ingredients so I'm sticking to sliced tomatos, hot peppers, and pickle spears, none of this "sugar slop in a bottle" no thanks. Sort of like when I eat unhealthy ice cream I buy the REALLY good super tasty stuff not the giant bucket of bulk slop.

I wonder if I could make my own, edible ketchup. Tastes like tomato without lip curling sweetness.

I ate way too many back when I was poor. Ketchup? Hot dogs need the twang of mustard to be the least bit palatable. It's poverty food, meant not to taste good but supply calories.

A decent cut of meat needs no condiment, but a decent cut of meat a hot dog ain't.
