  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

I thought it was recursive to comment about how awesome the staff is, after the poll goes without an update for a month due to technical reasons.

"X" is not a valid reply.
It needs to be a number between 1 and 9. ... and the number "One" Star Trek babe you want gets the number "Nine". ... and I'll go with Seven-of-Nine for my number One, er. I mean Nine. (not TNG, but neither is Quark's mom) ... but Beverly Crusher gets my second spot, so eight? I guess, but that seems wrong. I desperately want to put a two, because Beverly Crusher is a close second!

The Borg queen and Quark's mom were both in the TNG universe, just never caught on camera. You bet you ass the Borg queen was watching from afar and screaming at her telescreen when the Enterprise-D's toughest Black man and goofiest White boy daringly rescued Locutus from the depths of the Borg Cube.

And Quark's mom was off, uh, I dunno, collecting monies or something?

Don't Ferengi (including females) have pointed teeth? Not something I'd want near my junk.

And why would the Borg Queen need to be watching on a telescreen when the Borg are supposedly a hive mind?

The staff is awesome. They're giving me something I appreciate and taking my opinions into consideration and I'm not paying for it with money, viewing advertisements or doing drudge work. I can easily see how a poll about the degree of awesomeness would be boring, but one single vote?! I'm vote #2 and I take my hat off to vote #1.
