The Beeb [bbc.co.uk] reports a large UK based site — mumsnet — has annouced that they were attacked by crackers exploiting the popular openssl bug, heartbleed. Upto 10 million accounts may have been compromised. To their credit the site is
forcing users to change their passwords [mumsnet.com] at their next visit.
In other news, the Canada Revenue Agency has managed to lose 900 social insurance numbers. There's no detail on how they know 900, and not 500 or 1200 were compromised.
