MIT researchers have discovered [mit.edu] a hitherto unknown attractive force pulling together spinning particles suspended in liquid. It “is not chemical, it is not magnetic, it is not electrostatic". But the particles are attracted to another. It only seems to happen if there are non-spinning particles mixed in.
