According to 9news [9news.com.au], construction of the world's largest radiotelescope has been completed. Situated in a hollow in the mountains of China's Guizhou province [wikipedia.org], the structure includes a 500 m reflector, hence its name Five-hundred-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope [wikipedia.org] (FAST). Unlike the Arecibo telescope, the shape of the reflector can be changed [bao.ac.cn]. The receiver was built by the CSIRO.
