The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports [post-gazette.com] that NASA has announced approval of funding to continue monitoring and managing several spacecraft:
New Horizons, which passed the dwarf planet Pluto in 2015, is en route [soylentnews.org] to a Kuiper belt object called 2014 MU69. [wikipedia.org] The funding means that when New Horizons reaches 2014 MU69 around the beginning of the year 2019, NASA should be financially able to receive data about the encounter.
