The fine folks at Raptor Engineering [raptorengineering.com] are making another attempt at a fully Free(Libre) workstation using IBM POWER processors. The TALOS II is an updated board using POWER9 [wikipedia.org] processors and promising a more competitive price point, however no explicit details have yet emerged. Further, there is no crowdfunding attempt this time, with preorders opening in August according to their announce page [raptorcs.com].
