Many may want to know, what is being reported at The New York Post [nypost.com], even though it is close to the lowest low of Murdock and British Brexit tabloid yellow journalism, so here it is:

A neo-Nazi propagandist could be fined nearly $13 million for sending out racist robocalls across the country.

The Federal Communications Commission said Scott Rhodes, who now lives in Montana, made robocalls that “targeted specific communities with the intent to cause harm” in 2018, the Guardian reported.

Among the calls Rhodes made were spoofed robocalls that targeted an Iowa community grappling with the recent murder of a local woman to promote his racist ideology, talking of a “brown horde” of immigrants.

In Virginia, he sought to influence jurors in the trial of James Fields, who was convicted of murdering Heather Heyer after the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Of course, as usual, there is more.

The agency said the calls used an online calling platform that intentionally manipulates caller ID information “so that the calls he was making appeared to come from local numbers,” which is a violation of the 2009 Truth in Caller ID Act.

The $12.9 million fine proposed is the highest that the FCC can impose, the agency said in a release. Rhodes has the opportunity to respond with legal arguments challenging the fine.

Ouw! Oo! Owh! I have some phone calls I would like to report! Please, oh Minty FCC? How is this still happening?

And, gee, I hope TMB is not mixed up in any of this criminal behavior that he sympathizes with and might possibly code for. . . just saying, as they say in Tennassseee.
