Stealth quantum computing company PsiQuantum has raised $215M to build their next generation quantum computer -- which they claim will have 1 million qbits, using entangled photons instead of the usual electron or other fermions. If they are successful this will be a huge advancement to the field, moving from the 'Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum; (NISQ) computing regime that Google, IBM, and Microsoft are targeting and straight into a genuinely useful quantum computer computer.
