A far right group targeted hundreds of Hull homes by bombarding them with leaflets about white supremacy and coronavirus being a government plot.

Members of the Patriotic Alternative, a self-proclaimed activist group of “patriots”, spent four hours on Saturday (October 24) posting leaflets through the doors of up to 1,000 homes in Hull.

Residents received letters with theories about white Britons becoming a minority by the 2060’s and for the coronavirus [hulldailymail.co.uk] lockdown to end citing the government “want to take away your freedom”.

On Twitter, the group posted: “A great day out leafleting in Hull with our local team. Managed a solid four hours in densely packed estates, reckon close to a thousand homes between us.”

The post was accompanied by a picture of a leaflet referring to white Britons becoming a minority in the UK at a Hull home by a man wearing protective gloves.

Patriotic Alternative was founded in September 2019 by British neo-Nazi Mark Collett, who was formerly the British National Party’s publicity chief and a former BNP Youth leader.

Their website includes a 20-point plan to deal with immigration, the NHS, education, religious life in the UK and so on.

A countdown clock is also displayed on their homepage with the prediction that “native British people will become a minority by 2066”.

Since its foundation it has expanded to regional groups in the East Midlands, West Midlands, London, the South East, Scotland and Yorkshire.

Some commented on the group’s post describing them as “utterly insane” and with some requesting them not to post anything through their door.

One comment read: “Jesus wept – you sound utterly insane. Good job the people of Hull won’t be buying.

One woman tweeted: “You realise close to 100% got thrown straight in the bin don’t you? What a waste of paper and resources.”

Another posted: “Stay away from my house.”
