For now, Disney doesn’t seem to be budging when it comes to the case of Carano, and they haven’t been doing anything to hide her return in the second season of The Mandalorian. If anything, the character of Cara Dune should be held separate from Carano, and Carano is very well in her rights to spout her beliefs. Some fans are just choosing to reconcile their love for the character and their distaste for Carano’s recent tweets.
