In a surprising move Netflix has removed Chinese content from its libraries. The motive for this action is unknown, but it may have to do with the escalating martial threats near the country of Taiwan and aggressive actions against neighboring countries and the US. Popular series such as The Kings Avatar and Love 020 along with many other series are no longer available on Netflix in many regions. Similar content has also been removed in various netflix regions. This is a turnaround from 2019 where Netflix expanded Asian show offerings [variety.com].
