New Zealand Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence Marama Davidson [news.com.au] has stated that “white cis men who cause violence in the world”. The opinion of a Minister carries more weight than the average person. Detractors have criticized Davidson's position stating that her words are inappropriate and ill advised.

Does science have anything to say about this? Does the color of a person's skin have any relationship to their potential for violence? Are people who stay the same sex their entire life more prone to violence? Can this position be backed at all with scientific evidence?
