Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy posted a video of himself on his campaign bus alongside Daily Wire host Candace Owens and disgraced ex-congressman Steve King on Thursday morning.
“On the bus with my friends, Steve King, Candace Owens,” began Ramaswamy to cheers from the other two. “We’re excited for Scott County, we’re in eastern Iowa, you got the snow out there so things are running a little bit slower than usual, but things are gonna be great, actually.”
“We got a lot of people coming out waiting for us, and you know I think we’re gonna have a little, have the media have a little bit of fun with this combination of people on the road, you know?” he continued.
“I think it’s good,” chimed in Owens.
“Yeah, I think it’s gonna, we’re gonna give them a little bit of a fun field day, what do you think, Steve?” asked Ramaswamy.
“I think it’s a fascinating conversation to be between you two,” replied King. “I don’t know if I fit in our American society but somehow I feel like I do.”
“Yeah, I think you do too!” said Ramaswamy with a laugh.

King was defeated by a Republican primary challenger in 2020 after he was stripped of his committee assignments by GOP leadership in the House after years of controversial racial commentary.
“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization—how did that language become offensive?” asked King during an interview [nytimes.com] with the New York Times in 2019.
Owens was recently accused by other conservative commentators, including her colleague Ben Shapiro, of holding “disgraceful” [mediaite.com] views on Israel. During her ensuing feud with Shapiro, Owens declared [mediaite.com] that “you cannot serve both God and money,” which resulted in many concluding that she was wielding an anti-Semitic trope against him.
Ramaswamy has been floundering in the polls for months and did not qualify for Wednesday night’s Republican presidential primary debate.
