Australia is about to find out [news.com.au] as robotaxis roll their way down under to challenge the current fragile taxi ecosystem dominated by the much maligned taxi corporations and their down but not out Uber clone frenemies. Who will win? The corporate humans with their outrageous flag falls with dodgy fare counters, the new comers with their mobile apps and surge pricing, or the driverless carriages that can't rip you off by demanding cash? Only time will tell, but if the unions are against it then it definitely is worth trying.
